Pyramid Schemes

From a pastor:  Mark, I've had time to carefully read your material. I am impressed with the work that you've done. There is no way that I would disagree with you...  I would never get involved in any get rich quick scheme.  "If it sounds too good to be true......."  Keep up the good fight but don't expect the walls of Jericho to fall just because you blew the trumpet.  Remember to pray and pray and pray again and ask for discernment and strength.  Be blessed.  When do you want to have coffee? 

From a church member and Mother of 3:  Way to Go Mark!!!  You certainly did your homework. I pray that what the enemy meant for evil will be turned around for the good!!  God Bless You and Thank you so much  

From a 30 year Church member:    You have certainly done your homework in a detailed and professional way.  God Bless you as you seek to distribute this timely and necessary information throughout the church.  And don't back down---this should be published for it is clear, factual and backed up with accurate footnotes and references. From a new Church member:   Hi Mark:  I talked to my brother and he works for  the MLM company "Biznet."  He said if you'd like to you can call him.  

Letter from Mother to her daughter-in-law regarding her son's (Charles) involvement in Quixtar:  (NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED)  I asked Mitch (the husband) to read this information with an open mind and then we'll talk some more. If he still feels the same (supportive of the business), then all I can say is that both Mitch (the husband) and Charles (the son) are so self-righteous that they cannot admit when they are totally in error. I have no idea how anyone can read this and still stay in the business. Thanks for sending. I'm  busy packing today but wanted to take time to read this. I didn't look at all the links but I really don't need to because there is no need - THE WHOLE IDEA IS SO OBVIOUSLY CROOKED, ILLEGAL, UNDERHANDED, AND IMMORAL.  God Bless you and I love you so much. 

From a Church member & mother of two:   Hi Mark  -  Thanks for sending this. It confirms my gut instinct.  I'm a tough cookie when it comes to business motivational speakers.  The only speakers that move me are those Holy-Spirit led speakers that move my spirit. 

From a life-long Christian and Missionary: Pray that the Holy Spirit will open blind eyes and bring conviction and repentance where needed. I know a gal who made a huge website exposing a lot of what you have shared. I also just found out about a friend and pastor who is still digging himself out of the Amway pit. The saddest thing is to think that money is "the answer." Perhaps God is calling someone to teach in the inner city for peanuts....and as a result they will be blessed immeasurably for their obedience. I hate that money is presented as the end goal, when the Bible teaches something SO different. Hang in there. God is on His throne.

From a new Church member:  Hi Mark.  Just read about that kind of business this is. I will give the info to my brother. A lot of the reasons you mentioned here are why I am not interested in this type of business.  

From a Church member:  Hi Mark   I read your emails....this is unbelieveable. Is this the same business they call Team America, which has the web sight called " the marketplace"?   That is the strain of the scam my friend is now trying to get me into. My friends' family was big into AMWAY years ago...that is why I wondered if this is the same thing????  Hope all is well.

From a pastor:  Mark, I've read your material. Remember, God will judge everyone - including you and me.

From a pastor: There is nothing good about this business. I spoke with another pastor and he agreed that there was nothing good about the business. The lawsuits remind me of the commercial where "Coke is suing Coke" (one floor suing the other). I will see to it that no pastor lends their name to the enterprise. I will also talk to the person you indicated and ask him whether it's a good thing to export this business to Haiti. I also believe that nobody should be solicited in the church.

From a Christian Mom and Homeschooler:    Hi Mark -  I'm glad that you are exposing this darkness, but encourage you to do all that you will motivated by love. Guard your heart with diligence, and pray for all who may come against you.

From a local business person:  Hi Mark,  Good site ... I believe you will save some people a lot of valuable time and money. Good for you. Glad to see you've extricated yourself from "Scamway."

From a Minister's Daughter: You did a fantastic and thorough job researching and presenting your findings.  I know my eyes have been opened to all the dishonesty and hypocrisy infiltrating our churches, friends, and families.  I have already shared your findings with a friend who was approached by someone from her former church into joining a MLM.  It is unfortunate that people, who claim to love God, are trying to mislead the unsuspecting into financial irresponsibility for their own personal gain and greed.  Thank you for informing people and making them aware of the various "wolves in sheep's clothing."

From a Church Employee:  We all read what you posted/wrote. We were impressed by your thoroughness. We also admired you for your courage to stand up for what you believe. 

From a Mother of Two:  I checked out the website.  It provides a lot of really good info... I had heard some negative stuff about Amway/pyramid schemes several years back from my brother and father.  I didn't realize how awful it truly is until I read your info. I really respect your your willingness to put yourself out there and expose the evil. I know it can't be easy for you.  You should be proud of yourself!

From a 45 Yr Old Nurse:  Wow!  You're so right on. The site is very thorough.  You definitely did your homework and research, that's for sure.  I've had friends and family members who were in Quixtar and Amway in the past.  They tried to recruit me, of course.  Thank the Lord, I saw the deception and the lying that was done in the presentation right away.  I also noticed the secrecy issue in many areas in one form or another.  Thus, I wanted no part of it whatsoever.  I'm sorry you went through whatever you did, but thankful that you saw it for what it really was and got out.
